The arrival notification must be sent at least 1 hour before landing and the departure notification at least 30 minutes before take-off by electronic message and using the form “Cross-border flight notification Les Eplatures Airport”.
This form must be entirely completed with all the personal data of the crew and the passengers.
As checks for Extra-Schengen flights are mandatory, the notification must be sent at least 1 hour before landing and take-off.
The crew or the transport company is responsible for the transmission of these data as well as changes (pilots, passengers, plane) to the operator of Les Eplatures Airport.
Aircraft coming from abroad to be repaired in Switzerland have to be processed in processing traffic. A simplified procedure has been set up for Les Eplatures. The person responsible for completing the arrival notification of the aircraft must also complete the Aircraft Inward Processing Traffic Notification and send it by e-mail with the arrival notification.
Registered aircraft leaving Switzerland to be repaired abroad must be processed as inward processing traffic. The person responsible for completing the departure notification for the aircraft must also complete the Aircraft Outward Processing Traffic Notification and send it by e-mail with the departure notification.
The operator of Les Eplatures Airport is responsible for the follw-up of transmission to the Swiss Customs as well as for the foolw-up of the changes of the flight (delay, advance or cancellation).
In case of failure to respect the prior notice time or incomplete data, the plane and the occupants will be blocked by the operator of Les Eplatures Airport until the release by the Swiss Customs.
